Abstract In recent years, the paint industry has addressed development of products, technologies, and packaging to build conditions improve environmental performance in accordance circular economy goals. For these reasons, a life cycle thinking approach allows for understanding most important steps pursuing closed-loop strategies related This paper provides twofold analysis: first, comparison two paints, characterised by different chemical compositions, been carried out according current production (baseline scenario); second, each product, additional alternative scenarios have hypothesised.
